ToolBank USA Announces Additions to 2014 Leadership Team
By kevin.lynch @ 10:12 AM :: 3440 Views

ToolBank USA today announced its newly elected officers for 2014. The board and its officers are the guiding strategic force behind the governance and development of ToolBank USA, which enhances the efficiency and success of nonprofit organizations by lending from massive inventories of high-quality tools to increase the impact of community service projects.

ToolBank USA’s 2014 officers are:
President: Dan Webber, Chief Financial and Technology Officer at Monocle Health Data
Vice President: Shelley Goodman, Vice President Sales Operations with AT&T
Secretary: John Walker, VP, Global Marketing and Communications with Syniverse

UPS Vice President of Information Services Nick Costides served as president of the ToolBank USA board from 2012-2013, and will remain on the board as immediate past president. Bob Toupin, Chief Information Officer of BlueLinx Corp., a leading building products distributor, was elected to the board in early February.

“I’m thrilled that we have a wealth of experience from which to build our leadership team,” said ToolBank USA CEO Mark Brodbeck. “Dan has served on the ToolBank USA board for five years, and his impact is visible in the talented people and engaged investors he has brought into the fold.”

“This year, we will open four new ToolBanks to serve nonprofit organizations in new markets. I’m honored to lead the organization forward as we effectively double the number of cities we serve,” said Webber. “The ToolBank network is investing in the quality of our operations and the customer experience. We have listened to our local leaders and in 2014 we are making the upgrades necessary to remain on the cutting edge.”

ToolBanks in Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte and Cincinnati now loan tools to local nonprofits, schools and churches, and ToolBanks in Houston, Portland, Richmond and Phoenix will begin lending tools this year. ToolBank USA also operates a mobile disaster recovery ToolBank, which can equip volunteer responders in the field.
