The start of the second quarter marks the conclusion of the three‐year term of service of longtime ToolBank volunteer leader Betsy Holland. Holland is Director of Corporate
Responsibility and Civic Affairs at Turner Broadcasting System, and served on the Atlanta Community ToolBank Board prior to her service on the Board of ToolBank USA. “Betsy played a pivotal role in the transition of the ToolBank movement from a single entity serving one market to a national network with limitless potential,” said Mark Brodbeck, the CEO of ToolBank USA. “Her leadership during this period was immensely beneficial to the entire ToolBank network.” Brodbeck recruited Holland to the Atlanta ToolBank Board of Directors in 2006.
Holland joined TBS, Inc. in 1997 to work in the Corporate Affairs department. Her initial responsibilities included developing an employee volunteer program and launching the company’s annual day of service. She now oversees the company’s community outreach efforts, corporate contributions, government affairs and environmental sustainability programs.
