1/28/2010: ToolBank USA Elects 2010 Leadership Team
The board of directors for ToolBank USA announced its 2010 officers today. The board and its officers are the guiding strategic team for the governance and development of ToolBank USA.
President: Adria Perez, Attorney - Kilpatrick Stockton LLP
Vice President: Corky Martin, Product Development Merchant, Global Sourcing - The Home Depot
Treasurer: Nick Costides, Information Technology Executive - UPS
Secretary: Jennifer Duncan, Attorney, Troutman Sanders LLP
“This year will be one of exponential expansion for the ToolBank network and we are committed to ensuring the continued excellence of the organization as our movement grows,” said Perez who served on the Atlanta Community ToolBank board prior to becoming a founding director of ToolBank USA in 2008.
“This leadership team exemplifies the good governance that investors and other stakeholders in the non-profit sector have come to expect,” said ToolBank USA CEO Mark Brodbeck. “We’re delighted to have this team in place as we pursue our expansion into new markets throughout 2010.”
ToolBank USA is leading the national movement to equip non-profits and their volunteers with the tools to more effectively create change. ToolBank USA provides the business model, training, infrastructure and systems support to ToolBanks in local communities, allowing the ToolBanks to focus on tool stewardship and unparalleled customer service. The ToolBank network has one operating location in Atlanta and a Charlotte (N.C.) ToolBank which will begin lending tools in the summer of 2010. Initial support for ToolBank USA has been made by The Home Depot Foundation, The UPS Foundation and The Stanley Works.
